7 years agoAccording to Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo, first baseman Paul Goldschmidt will get more days off this year, as reported by Steve Gilbert of MLB.com. Goldschmidt has played 155 games or more four out of the last five seasons. He is well known for his durability. As Goldschmidt has turned 30, the manager seems intent upon doing as much as possible to keep his power bat in the lineup. In only 155 games last year, Goldschmidt tallied 36 homers, 120 RBI and 18 stolen bases. While the humidor could decrease some of those numbers, he remains an elite fantasy option.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
