7 years agoThe New York Mets injuries continue, as outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is suffering from a mild bout of shoulder soreness. The key word here is “mild,” but when it comes to the Mets, you just never know. Since being acquired by the Mets in July 2015, Cespedes has always been, and still is, the key to the team being a good offense rather than an average one. Limited by injuries in 2017, Cespedes heads into 2018 fully healthy (subject to whatever this shoulder soreness is), with a new fitness regime that he’s hoping will keep him on the field. And by new fitness regime, we mean more yoga and less golf. As of now, he still seems to be criminally undervalued as a late seventh-round pick in 12-team leagues.--John Smith
