7 years agoChicago Cubs infielder/outfielder Ian Happ hit his second leadoff homer of the spring versus the White Sox on Tuesday. The Cubs have floated names around for the leadoff spot in the order, but Happ has made a strong impression. The rookie forced his way up to the big leagues last year and hasn’t looked back. Happ hit 24 home runs in just 115 games in 2017 with a .253 batting average and eight stolen bases. Happ can play all over and shouldn’t have trouble finding at-bats in 2018.
