Marcus Stroman To Play Catch Tomorrow
7 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marcus Stroman has been out of action this spring due to shoulder inflammation, but it sounds as though he’s progressing. Stroman is set to play catch on Thursday, which as far as we’re aware, is the first time he’ll be doing so since being shut down in late February. An MRI did not reveal any structural damage, so the Blue Jays are likely just playing it cautious with the 26-year-old right-hander. Stroman may miss the first few games, but it sounds as though he won’t be back much later than the second turn through the rotation.
