7 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Jharel Cotton performed in the fashion that most hoped he would in 2017 in spring action Wednesday. Cotton pitched four innings and allowed only one run while striking out five and walking none. Cotton had high expectations heading into 2017, but he was inconsistent and walked too many people and gave up too many home runs. If he can fix these issues, he can be a great value selection with the last pick in drafts or even off the waiver wire in some instances.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
