Kyle Freeland Throws Three Innings Against Reds
7 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Kyle Freeland went three innings on Thursday, only giving up one run, two walks and three strikeouts against the Cincinnati Reds. Freeland gave up one run in the first inning after Rosell Herrera stole second base and Devin Mesoraco batted him in. However, Freeland looked good in the remainder of his start. Coming into this game, Freeland was sporting a 9.00 ERA and has now improved it to a still subpar 6.75 ERA. Freeland will be looking to build off his rookie season last year where he averaged a 4.11 ERA and an 11-11 record over 156 innings, and he will be competing for a spot in the Rockies rotation. Keep him on your watch list.
