Marcus Stroman Throws Again On Friday
7 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marcus Stroman continues to work his way back from shoulder inflammation, but he remains uncertain for Opening Day. Stroman threw Thursday and again Friday, and finally a plan is being put in place for his return to action. However, according to manager John Gibbons, Opening Day is probably still a stretch. Outside of Stroman’s knee injury in 2015, he’s been a model of durability since, eclipsing 200 innings pitched in both 2016 and 2017. Coming off a 3.09 ERA across 201 innings pitched last season, Stroman should be a fine fantasy option once again once he gets back on the mound.
