7 years agoVegas Golden Knights center Cody Eakin had his best performance of the year on Thursday against Detroit, finishing with two goals and three points in a 4-0 road win. Eakin, who ended the game with a plus-4 rating, made it 2-0 in the middle of the second period with a short-handed goal and scored again a couple of minutes before the final break. However, don't expect him to repeat the performance anytime soon. Eakin was on a six-game pointless streak and it was actually just his fourth game with any points in 2018.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
