7 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel declared that his defending champs are "not the Cubs" and there will be no World Series hangover. This was in reference to the 2016 World Champion Chicago Cubs playing .500 baseball for the entire first half of the season in 2017. Keuchel believes that the Astros, simply "have better players." There is plenty of room for optimism in Houston these days with the core of their offensive lineup returning intact this season, and the team will get full seasons from perennial starters Justin Verlander and Gerrit Cole. Keuchel himself will also be looking to make all of his starts in 2018 after dealing with a neck injury multiple times last season. Keuchel has emerged as a leader and a key voice in a clubhouse loaded with talented players.--Joey C - RotoBaller
