7 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Jake Marisnick is getting every opportunity to earn more playing time this season for the defending champions. Marisnick is a fantastic center fielder and flashed some power last season, slugging 16 home runs through only 230 at-bats. Marisnick is off to a decent start this spring, hitting .292, but the strikeouts continue to haunt him. Marisnick struck out 90 times last season and already has punched out seven times through 24 at-bats in the preseason. In order to take the next step, the 26-year-old will have to prove he is more than feast or famine at the plate if he wants to become a regular in a loaded Astros lineup.--Joey C - RotoBaller
