Reds Lose Anthony DeSclafani, Brandon Finnegan To Injury On Sunday
7 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds had a rough Sunday as they lost two pitchers during Cactus League action. Starter Anthony DeSclafani left the game during the bottom of the first inning with an oblique injury. He was replaced by left-hander Brandon Finnegan, who also departed during the first with an unknown injury. Both pitchers dealt with injuries during the 2017 season, with DeSclafani not pitching at all and Finnegan making just four starts. DeSclafani dealt with an oblique injury at the start of the 2016 season, an issue which held him out of action until early June. He is without a timetable for return while little is currently known about Finnegan's status.
