7 years agoThe Detroit Lions are serious suitors for free-agent tight end Trey Burton. Burton is not expected to return to Philadelphia this season, and as many as 16 teams have showed some level of interest in Burton. The Lions have come up the most, however. The Lions have not indicated what they are planning to do with incumbent starter Eric Ebron, but Burton would likely come in to start, meaning Ebron would either be traded or released. Burton would immediately become a fantasy-relevant tight end if he became the starter in Detroit.--patton
