Yoenis Cespedes Received Cortisone Shot In Wrist
7 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes was pulled from the Mets lineup on Tuesday with a sore wrist, receiving an X-ray that thankfully came back as negative. In addition, he received a cortisone injection for the wrist. It does not sound as if Cespedes is in any danger of missing Opening Day, but we’re getting to the point of spring training where injuries need to be modified a bit more closely with fantasy drafts now in full swing. There’s no reason to treat Cespedes any differently than you had been before this news, at least for the moment. However, he's a high-risk, high-reward fantasy commodity because of his injury history.
