7 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with a run in his spring training debut. Gonzalez is looking to bounce back from a rough year in which he hit for a .262 batting average, .339 on-base percentage and .423 slugging percentage, which compared to his previous seasons, is considerably worse. If Gonzalez can have a season anywhere close to his 2016 season in which he hit .298/.350/.505, there is no reason to see why he would not get the majority of the starts in right field for the Rockies. Gonzalez should currently be owned in deeper formats right now. However, if he can get anywhere close to what he used to be, he should easily be owned in all leagues.--Caden Inaba
