Miguel Sano Scratched With Knee Bruise
7 years agoThe Minnesota Twins scratched third baseman Miguel Sano from the lineup on Friday after he came down with a bruised right knee. Fortunately, the issue is not related to the injury which caused Sano to undergo offseason surgery to have a titanium rod inserted in his left shin. Sano is having a nice spring, batting .304 in 23 at-bats with two homers. Twins manager Paul Molitor told reporters earlier in the week that he was happy with how Sano has recovered from the offseason surgery. Sano can be considered day-to-day for now.
