7 years agoCalgary Flames goalie Mike Smith will guard the cage on Friday against the San Jose Sharks, looking for his second win in three games following a month-long injury break. Smith picked up his first win on Tuesday, stopping 28 pucks to shut out the Oilers in a 1-0 win. He now has three shutouts in 49 starts this season, boasting a 24-17-6 record. Smith has some really strong career numbers against the Sharks, winning 12 of 25 starts while giving up just 2.19 goals per game and recording a .940 save percentage, but he picked up a loss in his only previous start this season against them, allowing three goals on 29 shots.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
