7 years agoCalgary Flames forward Kris Versteeg (hip) will make his long-awaited return on Friday against San Jose, slotting into the third line alongside Mark Jankowski and Garnet Hathaway. With Matthew Tkachuk (upper body) still missing, Versteeg is also expected to play on the second power-play unit. He didn't do much at the start of the season before going under the knife to correct a hip problem, getting just five goals and eight points in 22 games, but he's got nearly 150 goals to his name in the league, so he clearly knows how to put the puck into the net.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
