Marc-Andre Fleury Records 42-Save Shutout On Sunday
7 years agoVegas Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury successfully managed to avoid his first three-game losing streak of the season, making 42 saves in a 4-0 win on Sunday against the Flames. It's his fourth shutout of the season and his second in the last six starts. Fleury has been as consistent as they come this season, and most importantly, he's managed to stay healthy. He has started 20 of the last 21 games, but the workload hasn't been killing him and he's stayed sharp throughout the busy stretch with only a couple of below-par outings, which are bound to happen to every goalie every once in a while. The Flower should have a great chance of posting another shutout on Tuesday if he isn't rested, as Vegas hosts Vancouver, who haven't scored in three of the last four games.
