7 years agoVegas Golden Knights defenseman Nate Schmidt has come back strong from an upper-body injury, which forced him to miss four games at the start of the month, as he has four points in five games after picking up two assists in Sunday's 4-0 win over Calgary. He recorded a secondary assist on the team's opening goal, which came on a power play, and later on Schmidt helped William Karlsson finish off his hat trick. Schmidt now has 34 points for the season with 29 assists in 68 games, boasting a plus-20 rating, which is second among Vegas defensemen behind Brayden McNabb, who is his running mate on the top pairing.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
