7 years agoUpdating a previous report, Minnesota Twins right-hander Ervin Santana is progressing as expected after having surgery on his right middle finger in February. Santana's initial timetable for return was set at eight to 10 weeks but an updated report stated that it may be closer to 12 weeks before he's able to pitch. The veteran seemed frustrated when asked about his return the other day but he is still trending toward being back on the mound by May. Santana is coming off a 2017 season which saw him go 16-8 with a 3.28 ERA and 167 strikeouts.--Matt T - RotoBaller
