7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Wade Miley left Wednesday's Spring Training game against the Oakland Athletics with an injury. When Miley went to go field a bunt and throw the ball to third, he lost his grip and awkwardly had to recover in order to get the ball to the base. He was visibly hurt after the play and was taken out of the game later on. Because of the opt-out clause that is due on March 22nd, the Brewers will need to put Miley on their roster on that day or he can request his release. This is unfortunate timing for Miley, who was currently four innings in his start without giving up a run.--Caden Inaba
