7 years agoChicago White Sox manager Rick Renteria will hold first baseman Jose Abreu (hamstring) out of Friday’s lineup. Abreu suffered a hamstring tweak on Tuesday and has been sidelined since. The good news is that the first baseman will be a full participant in baseball activities Friday and should be good to go for Opening Day. He should be expected to hit around .290 with 30 home runs and 100 RBI. Abreu remains one of the more underrated players in the game.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
