Jimmy Nelson Hoping To Return Mid-Late April
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jimmy Nelson is up to 105 feet in his throwing program and is currently targeting 120 feet, which he will stay at for a few weeks before getting into the minor league rehab stage. The hope for Nelson is to return in the second half of April and he is a lock to start in the rotation. There are questions right now as to whether or not Nelson will be added to the disabled list, but, for right now, he is still day-to-day on Yahoo leagues. Provided he gets added to the DL, Nelson will make a great early season DL stash, as he is looking to continue off a season in which he maintained a 3.49 ERA and a whopping 199 strikeouts in 175.1 innings pitched.
