Robin Lehner Pulled Against Rangers
7 years agoBuffalo Sabres goaltender Robin Lehner was pulled in the 5-1 loss to the New York Rangers, allowing four goals on 12 shots for a .667 save percentage. It appears that Lehner is not the future in net that they were hoping he would be when they traded a first-round pick in 2015 (Colin White) to acquire him from the Ottawa Senators. This season now puts him at his lowest save percentage that he has recorded in his three years with the Sabres, at .909. The Sabres need to get serious about this rebuild, and Lehner may be one of the pieces that end up moving in this off-season.
