7 years agoAfter a flurry of moves on Saturday, the 25th spot on the Pittsburgh Pirates' roster will come down to first baseman Jose Osuna or an eighth reliever. MLB.com's Adam Berry believes the team is leaning toward another bullpen arm, but nothing is set in stone yet. Osuna has been one of Pittsburgh's best hitters this spring after struggling in his first taste of the majors last year, batting .311/.347/.622 with four home runs and 14 RBI in 49 plate appearances. He would serve as Josh Bell's backup along with David Freese if he makes the team. Meanwhile, the eighth bullpen spot will likely come down to Jordan Milbrath, Dovydas Neverauskas, and Josh Smoker.--Matt Wilkes
