7 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman/designated hitter Dan Vogelbach should see plenty of at-bats in the first week of the season thanks to his sparkling spring training performance. Vogelbach hit .407 with seven doubles, seven home runs and 16 runs batted in through 54 at-bats. Vogelbach should see some time as free-agent acquisition Ryon Healy works his way back from injury. Vogelbach has always been able to hit right-handers but struggles with defense and production against left-handed pitching. He may not be a long-term play this season, but Vogelbach could provide production on a short-term basis to begin the season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
