Corey Knebel Blows First Save Of The Season Against Padres
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers closer Corey Knebel did not get his 2018 off to a good start as he gave up two hits, one run and had a strikeout against the Padres during a blown save. Knebel came into this game with a 1-0 lead and eventually gave up a single to Carlos Asuaje, who was then pinch run for by Matt Szczur. Sczcur stole second and then Freddy Galvis singled to bring him in. It was an unfortunate turn of events for Knebel. However, he still has the Brewers closer job on lockdown.
