7 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (ribs) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right intercostal muscle strain. Hicks played Thursday and seemed fine, so there is no update on how the injury occurred. The club has called up outfielder Billy McKinney from Triple-A to take the spot of Hicks. McKinney should be able to draw a fair amount of at-bats with Hicks absent, but is better served for daily leagues at the moment.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
