Luis Castillo Roughed Up In Season Debut
7 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo had a rough time against the Washington Nationals in his season debut on Saturday. The 25-year-old fireballer allowed six runs in five innings of work while striking out six. He was hit hard, allowing two homers and six total hits. Castillo is widely expected to be the Reds' best pitcher this season but he drew a tough matchup against a Nationals lineup that is one of the best in baseball. Castillo will look to bounce back in his next start, which will come against the Pittsburgh Pirates on April 6.
