7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks ace Zack Greinke surrendered one earned run on five hits and no walks over 5 2/3 innings on Saturday night. Greinke also struck out nine batters. It was a very successful start for Greinke, who was making his first regular season appearance since suffering a groin injury in Spring Training. It's unfortunate that the D'Backs weren't able to provide Greinke with run support like they did for Patrick Corbin and Robbie Ray. However, he has outperformed both of them and will continue to be their best starter moving forward.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
