Mets-Phillies Postponed Due To Snow
7 years agoThe New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies were supposed to kick off their second series of the year on Monday, but the game has been postponed due to snowfall in New York. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on July 9. Starting pitcher Matt Harvey was set to take the hill for the Mets, while Ben Lively was to be his nemesis for the Phillies. Harvey is expected to remain the starter when play resumes on Tuesday, but there seems to be some thought the Phillies could use another arm instead of Lively. We’ll update you once we know more.
