Lance Lynn Gives Up Five Runs In Twins Debut
7 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Lance Lynn did not fare well in his debut for his new team. Lynn, signed about halfway through spring training, allowed five runs in four innings of work while striking out three and walking six. It was not how the Twins, or Lynn, envisioned his start with his new team going. Most of the damage came on a first-inning grand slam off of the bat of third baseman Colin Moran, but Lynn did himself no favors by issuing six free passes in the contest, tying a career high. This isn't new for Lynn, as he has had his struggles with control over his career, allowing 3.40 walks per nine innings. He will look to get back on track in his second start, which will come against the Houston Astros.
