7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals infielder Jedd Gyorko was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right hamstring strain. Gyorko was forced to leave Monday's game and will now be forced to miss at least 10 more days. He missed two weeks last season with a similar injury, but most signs are pointing toward this one being less severe, so he should be able to return once the 10 days are up. Matt Carpenter will likely take most of the starts at third base, leaving Kolten Wong to play second and Jose Martinez at first.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
