Michael Conforto Is “Ready To Go”
7 years agoAs if we needed any further confirmation that New York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto (shoulder) is all but ready to play, according to manager Mickey Callaway, Conforto is “ready to go.” However, he didn’t quite say that Conforto would be activated when first eligible on Thursday, but it seems like a fair bet that he will be or very shortly thereafter. Conforto hasn’t played in a regular season game since August of 2017, when he dislocated his shoulder and needed surgery. He originally wasn’t supposed to be back until May, but he has far surpassed all expectations. Whenever Conforto is ready to throw on the uniform again, he needs to be in your lineups right away, as he seems ready to produce.
