7 years agoThis had already been strongly expected, but now we know for sure -- New York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto (shoulder) is traveling with the team to Washington D.C. for the series against the Nationals. It sure sounds as if Conforto will be activated from the disabled list when first eligible on Thursday, but of course it’s possible that he doesn’t get back in the lineup right away. Conforto rebounded from shoulder surgery faster than any doctor predicted, which is very un-Mets like, but obviously it is very beneficial for fantasy owners. As long as he’s playing, he needs to be in your lineup.--John Smith
