7 years agoThe Cleveland Browns acknowledged on Wednesday that USC quarterback Sam Darnold is at team headquarters in Berea, Ohio, as part of the team's pre-draft evaluations. Darnold has been one of the names most frequently linked to the Browns as a candidate to be their first overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft. Former Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield visited with the team on Tuesday in a similar capacity. Cleveland is almost assuredly using one of their two first-round picks to address a quarterback position which has been an issue since the team returned to the NFL in 1999.--Matt T - RotoBaller
