7 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Dan Vogelbach will get the start at first base over Ryon Healy, per MLB.com. Vogelbach enjoyed a scorching-hot spring training that helped him make the opening day roster. Vogelbach is still looking for his first hit of the season and will get his chance Wednesday against Giants right-hander Johnny Cueto. Vogelbach hit .290 in the minors last season and fares far better against right-handers than lefties.
