7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Luke Gregerson (hamstring) threw a bullpen session on Thursday and will begin a rehab assignment with the Single-A Palm Beach Cardinals soon. Gregerson has had a painful spring which started with an oblique injury and then ended up with a hamstring strain. While Gregerson was at first considered the favorite for saves in the St. Louis bullpen, the Greg Holland signing has slammed that door shut. Gregerson will work along with Tyler Lyons, Dominic Leone, and Jordan Hicks as the bridge between the starters and Holland. Holland is the only Cardinals bullpen arm that needs to be owned in mixed leagues at this point.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
