7 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Michael Brantley (ankle) was activated from the disabled list on Thursday. To make room on the roster, Tyler Naquin was optioned to Triple-A Columbus. Brantley had major surgery to repair the ligaments in his ankle, and while he did get some playing time in the Cactus League, the team determined he wasn't quite ready for the rigors of a major league schedule on Opening Day. He'll be a starter for sure, but he's likely to get more off days than most outfielders, at least for the first few weeks. Brantley is always a serious injury risk, but he's a very good player when he's on the field and is worth picking up in most formats.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
