7 years agoMLB.com writer AJ Cassavell reports that Christian Villanueva will get the start at third base Friday for the Padres, marking his fourth start in a row for San Diego. Since his three-homer outburst on Tuesday, Villanueva has gone 0-for-6 with three strikeouts. He will have a tough match-up going against Astros starter Lance McCullers Jr., who had 10 strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings in his last start.
