7 years agoOrioles starter Kevin Gausman went five innings against the Yankees Friday, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out three. While he didn't get a decision in the game, it was a good sign to see him bounce back from his six-run, four-inning start against the Twins. It hasn't been a great start to the season for Gausman, but he is showing average-to-good strikeout rates, with 8.0 K/9 and an 18.6 strikeout percentage. Owners in leagues that count quality starts should consider buying low on Gausman, as he ranked in the top 50 among starting pitchers last season with 15 quality starts.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
