7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff has been optioned to Triple-A as the Brewers bullpen has been overworked and needed a fresh arm, according to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. J.J. Hoover has been added to the 40 man roster and has been called up to the Brewers as a result of this move. Due to the lack of starting pitchers available right now for the Brewers, someone will have to step in to start on Thursday against the St. Louis Cardinals, most likely Junior Guerra.--Caden Inaba
