Jose Berrios Knocked Around By Mariners
7 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Jose Berrios struggled against the Seattle Mariners on Saturday in his second start of the season. He allowed Seattle to rack up five runs on seven hits in just 4 2/3 innings of work. Berrios did manage to strike out seven batters and didn't walk anyone in the start. This comes as a bit of a letdown after Berrios was absolutely dominant in his first start of the season, pitching a complete game shutout. Despite the poor outing, Berrios has shown much better command this season, walking just one batter in 13 1/3 innings this season. Don't get too concerned as Berrios should bounce back in his next start. He is still a rock-solid fantasy starting pitcher in all formats.
