7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Jacob Barnes went 2/3 of an inning, giving up four runs (two earned), three hits, two walks and was ultimately rewarded with the loss and the blown save. Barnes didn't exactly get the help from his infield as Travis Shaw and Orlando Arcia committed crucial errors that played a part in the Cubs ninth-inning comeback, but he wasn't necessarily great either. In between the two errors, Barnes walked Jason Heyward and intentionally walked Kris Bryant, while Ben Zobrist and Ian Happ drove in runs on their singles. With the Brewers closer spot wide open because of the injury to Corey Knebel, these types of games don't help Barnes' case to pile up saves. Matt Albers is definitely the safer reliever to own right now.--Caden Inaba
