Domingo Santana Builds Off Of Good April
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Domingo Santana went 1-for-4 in the 5-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs. With the hit, this now puts Santana at a .294 batting average in April. Despite the fact that he has only driven in one run and has yet to score, Santana will eventually get his luck if he continues to get on base. Santana will also continue to get consistent starts until Christian Yelich returns from injury. However, with Ryan Braun only hitting .179 and Eric Thames drilling home runs left and right, it's hard to see Santana being benched in favor of Braun. Keep an eye on the outfield situation in Milwaukee as a trade might be looming.
