Jonathan Villar Builds Off Good Start With Double
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers infielder Jonathan Villar went 1-for-3 with a double in the 3-0 loss to the Chicago Cubs. Villar was the only one to get a hit that wasn't named Lorenzo Cain on the Brewers and managed to get a hit off lefty Jose Quintana, which has not been his strong suit this season. Today's hit brings his April batting average to .348 in 23 at-bats with only one RBI and one stolen base, but this is largely due to the Brewers getting shutout three times in April. If you can, try to find some room on your roster for Villar as he's got some very high-speed upside.
