7 years agoAfter getting rocked for six runs — five earned — in his first start of the year, Braves pitcher Sean Newcomb had a dominant outing Sunday, pitching six shutout innings against Colorado. Newcomb allowed five hits while tying his career-high with nine strikeouts. It was a good bounce-back performance for the 24-year-old, who fantasy owners hope will have a breakout season this year.
