7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain went 1-for-5 on Monday and exited the game in the ninth inning after landing on first base hard and accidentally kicked Cardinals first baseman Jose Martinez in the Achilles. This play happened to be Cain's only hit of the game, too, and just from appearance it looked to be more precautionary for Cain. Martinez was another story, however, and needed help to walk off the field from the athletic trainers. Keep an eye on injury news from Cain, as this could open up some playing time for Brewers prospect Brett Phillips in center field.--Caden Inaba
