Lance Lynn Blanks Astros Over Five Innings
7 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Lance Lynn turned in an excellent start against the Houston Astros on Monday. Lynn held a dangerous Houston offense scoreless over five innings, racking up nine strikeouts and allowing three hits. It wasn't a perfect outing as Lynn did have to work around four walks, but he still showed much better than he did in his season debut when he gave up five runs in four innings of work. Lynn has now walked 10 batters in nine innings of work and is going to have to cut down on the free passes going forward if he's to be a reliable fantasy option this season. He will look to stay hot against the Chicago White Sox in his next start.
