7 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura gave the offense a tremendous boost in Seattle's 8-3 victory on Tuesday night. After popping out in the first inning, Segura got his night started with a two-RBI triple in the top of the second inning. He then beat out a play on the infield for a single in the fourth inning before doubling in the sixth inning. His final at-bat of the game was a ground out, but nonetheless it was a successful day at the dish. Segura now has a .368 batting average with zero home runs and four RBI on the season.
